About Terceto
Terceto was formed in 2017 from a shared desire to explore the vast and diverse repertoire for piano trio. In addition to well-known masterworks by composers such as Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Ravel, Terceto enjoys exploring lesser-known works by American and Latin American composers, as well as other unjustly neglected repertoire. The musicians met while all were living in North Carolina, and had performed together in other settings, but never as a piano trio. They are all drawn to the piano trio as a perfect instrumental grouping to blend solo and chamber music playing, as well as to the incredible wealth of music composed for this genre.
